Charter & Brokerage

Taurus Yachts are not a brokerage company, but we do work with clients & owners that want to purchase yachts. We can act for you directly by identifying what you need & then carrying out "on" market & "off "market research to find what you want. Whatever you want we can find it for you whether it is already on the market, currently not listed for sale, in build or at the planning stage. Do feel free talk to us about your requirements. If you have a broker we will probably know them & will be happy to work with them.

As with buying a yacht we will be happy to work with you on the preparation of your yacht for sale by agreeing how to market it and to carry out any surveys on your behalf to establish a value for the yacht. We can then create a marketing strategy for you that will best suit your needs. This may involve us acting as a central agency for you, appointing a broker for you or working in partnership with your broker. At all times when negotiating or buying & selling yachts we will act with the utmost discretion & confidentiality on your behalf.

The partners at TYL have worked on charter yachts so are very familiar with all & any the aspects of chartering. Whether you are an owner looking to offset some of your operating costs or a client that wants to charter a yacht so you can experience yachting first first hand, whoever you are, we can charter your yacht or charter you a yacht. As a yacht owner we can put your yacht on the open charter market & can manage the marketing of it for you. As a charterer we will always find the perfect yacht for you to charter.

We have put tenders & toys under brokerage because most yachts will have a suite of these onboard. The cost of buying these items can be considerable & require negotiations, contracts to be written & need legal services. At Taurus we know designers, manufacturers & suppliers that can manufacture or source any product for you whether it is off the self or custom built. Today most tenders & personal watercraft have their own registration with Flag State - TYL can arrange this. We can also arrange delivery of it to your yacht anywhere.

From an initial idea to upgrade or replace something onboard, to the full build of a large superyacht TYL, can help you manage your maintenance plans, refit projects or the build of any yacht. Taurus have managed major refits, conversions & builds on both modern & classic yachts of all sizes. We have worked with all the major yards & sub-contractors & now use only those we trust. Complex or simple we dedicate the right PM & enough staff to the jobs we take on, always aiming to complete all our projects on time & on budget.
